Philosophical, romantic, and shaded with a sense of longing — NEURØNIA are preparing to unveil their second album, “No Gods In The Void”, expected in autumn 2025 on all major streaming platforms.
This release follows the group’s debut “Neurotica”, which arrived in May 2025. While the first record was an ambitious experiment, pushing the boundaries of creativity through AI-driven arrangements and bold genre fusion, the upcoming album is built on lessons learned. “No Gods In The Void” dives deeper into live musicianship, blending raw performance with carefully honed production.
Musically, it stretches across metalcore, post-hardcore, alternative metal, alternative rock, and ambient layers. Rooted in the heaviness of old-school influences, the sound is expanded with modern cinematic textures, creating an immersive listening experience.
The album is still taking shape: around thirteen tracks are currently in development, but the final number may change as the process evolves. Unlike typical releases, the title does not mirror any single track — instead, “No Gods In The Void” reflects the record’s overarching atmosphere: intimate yet elevated, exploring themes of separation, faith, and vulnerability.
The creative process remains a unique hybrid. The composer writes the music, melodies, and lyrics, recording rough drafts before turning to artificial intelligence to generate arrangements and selected vocal parts. These are then reworked: live guitars, additional instruments, and effects are added, followed by mixing and mastering. Here, AI acts as a tool and performer, not a replacement, extending the vision rather than defining it.
As the composer explains: “This album is what has been boiling inside me for a long time, and I am truly happy to finally release it into the world. If ‘Neurotica’ was a daring experiment, then ‘No Gods In The Void’ is a clearer expression of what NEURØNIA truly is.”
While physical editions are not yet planned, the digital release will mark a significant step forward for NEURØNIA, with the possibility of merchandise to follow.
